staple travel clothing

There are a few things you'll see me wearing on almost every adventure we take. I experiment with different layers and brands until I find something I love. I believe in good brands that pride themselves on quality because I know it will last, especially on the more expensive items. Once I find something I like, I tend to wear it over and over. These are some items that will always be in my suitcase!

1. Patagonia Nano Puff Jacket

This jacket is an all-in-one. It's layer-able, waterproof, lightweight, packs down into the pocket, perfect for hiking, and can also be dressed up. It is a go-to for all my trips no matter what climate and as a bonus, the brand is Patagonia who I love to support. They believe in making products that will last a lifetime and let me tell ya, I plan on keeping this jacket for as long as I can. I have had it for about 3 years now and it still looks brand new.

2. Baseball Cap

I try to wash my hair as little as possible…enter: hat. This hat has been with me for many years now and I love to put it on when my hair is a mess and voila, I somehow look put together. Unfortunately, Columbia does not carry this exact one anymore, but here's another one I like!

3. Madewell Roadtripper Jeans

Through high school, jeans were always two things. Rhinestoned and low rise. Thankfully, that trend has come and gone and we are now onto a much more flattering and comfortable style... and are moving on from brands from my high school days (I still see you miss me). When I discovered Madewell jeans, my life was changed. Their jeans are extremely comfortable and now come in petite, tall, and taller sizes. I have always had a problem with my jeans looking like high waters, so the taller version of their jeans has been a lifesaver for me. I always make sure this specific pair of jeans is clean before we go on any sort of trip. They are skinny jeans with a relaxed fit and I cannot recommend this pair of jeans enough!

4. Lululemon Align Pant

I tried to stay away from the Lululemon bandwagon as long as I could. However, this is one of those brands that is worth every bit of expensive penny. Especially this legging. My mind was blown when I first tried the Align crop on because it truly felt like butter on my skin. I now have two pairs and they are constantly in my dirty clothes because I reach for them first. No matter where we go, I'm usually wearing them on an airplane, in a car, doing yoga, or on a hike. You need these leggings.

Let me know what you think or if you try out one of these items!
